Introduction to Response to Intervention Archived Webinar
    with Cara Shores
Working together for the success of every student in an inclusive education system is an important principle of Action on Inclusion. Response to Intervention (RTI) is a research-proven framework with potential to create enduring improvement in schools.
This framework is built on a process of identifying students at risk, pinpointing highly effective strategies specifically designed to address the students' areas of need, implementing the strategies with fidelity, and using assessment to determine progress and adjust instruction.
This webinar will explore what RTI is and provide information on effective implementation of the RTI framework. Through demonstration and discussion, you will develop an understanding of the RTI framework as a school improvement process.
You will receive a brief introduction to these topics:
Core instruction as the foundation for the RTI framework
Effective academic interventions for supplemental and intensive intervention
Assessment tools for universal screening, progress monitoring, and diagnostic investigation
