Supporting FSL the SMART Way
Supporting FSL the SMART (Board) Way! Grades 4-6
with Roxanne Wiebenga
ABOUT THIS LEARNING OPPORTUNITY:
How does a communicative FSL classroom make effective use of a SMART Board? This interactive session will present examples of pre-made Notebook activities that are based on the FSL Program of Studies as well as share ideas on how to integrate the SMART Board. Participants will build their own lesson so they should come prepared with their resources and a removable flash drive.
This session requires a beginning level SMART Board course or the equivalent experience. Laptops are available for use during the session or participants can bring their own fully charged laptop with Notebook 10 software already installed.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Roxanne Wiebenga has 20 years of language teaching experience in elementary and junior high. Recently she held a technology position and completed the Level 2 SMART Board training in Calgary.
