PD Resources related to Curriculum Redesign

For the 2013-14 year, regional consortium (ERLC is one of seven) have received a grant from Alberta Education to support implementation of Curriculum Redesign. This wiki space (combining the work of all regional consortium and titled “Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortia (ARPDC) Curriculum Redesign”) will include processes to facilitate dialogue and awareness of the intent of Curriculum Redesign.

At this time, we are learning more about the Ministerial Order on Student Learning and sharing our knowledge/process ideas on the ARPDC Curriculum Redesign Wiki. This wiki space will include – over time – materials that we and our consortium colleagues and ERLC team will develop. We also hope that you will share materials you are preparing that assist us all in our understanding of how to best implement the fundamental goal of education in Alberta:

….to inspire all students to achieve success and fulfillment, and reach their full potential by developing the competencies of Engaged Thinkers and Ethical Citizens with an Entrepreneurial Spirit, who contribute to a strong and prosperous economy and society.
